The Kesle Group, LLC
What is your approach to helping clients identify and solve key challenges? We are first looking for clarity on the challenge. Often what the client thinks is the challenge is masking the true challenge. I work with them to first get clear on what we are really trying to address.
What are the most common misconceptions about consulting? Consulting isn’t a rescue mission — it’s a collaboration. I don’t swoop in to fix things; I help leaders see the path forward, make better decisions, and lead their teams with clarity and confidence. Often I find that the client thinks you have ALL the answers; and we don’t!
How do you measure the success of your client engagements? As a consultant, i’m working myself out of a job. Success is when the client doesn’t need me anymore. I help them find clarity, solve their own problems, and keep growing long after our work together ends.
What’s the most rewarding part of your work? Seeing the look in someone’s eye when they hit that AHA! moment and realize they know what to do to be successful on their own.
What skills do you think are essential for future consultants or coaches? The key skills are curiosity, discernment, and trust-building. A good consultant doesn’t just give advice — they create space for clients to see new possibilities and take ownership of the solution. It’s about empowerment, not enablement.
