The Health Matrix Success Navigator, LLC
What trends are shaping the health and wellness industry right now? Big focus on GLP1 medicine and weight. Burn out and exhaustion. Late diagnoses ADHD.
How do you approach holistic well-being with your clients or audience? That is the whole premise of my coaching – it is about that – however I am here a coach, not as a physician
What challenges do you see in helping people sustain healthy habits? this is exactly why my approach is NAVIGATION – not “fix” and then what ? my approach is different in that do “triage level” where needed first , but the emphasis is on how to sustain and navigate. So many program offer “quick fixes” but they don’t address the problem that the system the client in running does not support or know what to do with theset points.
How do you tailor programs for different fitness or health needs? I start with looking at exactly where each client. That is finding your coordinates on your own health matrix. That sounds easy – but it is surprisingly convolutes sometimes
What role does technology play in supporting wellness today? It can be extremely helpful – except when it is not, meaning when it overwhelms or distracts. Optimize for simplicity and effectiveness or else you are managing complexity – which leads to burn out
Can you share a story of transformation you've witnessed? I can share my own transformation . For example I used to weigh 290 lbs ( now down to 135 lbs) – all diets worked – but only while I was on them – it was a “crazy eight” phenomen which I talk about in my book the Curiosity quotient – a renegade pathologist’s detour guide to the morgue. Curiosity led me to tap into other reasons, including my role in the family , numerous tools I played with and over the years the weight came off – which is just the surface phenomenon. There os a photo of this on my website – a picture is worth a thousand words
What motivates you in this industry every day? Health and wellness are the only thing that, without it, make this existence less enjoyable or worth while. The more people are alive and curious, the better this world and it way more pleasant for ALL . I am German, we have been through it – remember the Currency reform in 1948 ? There is always need to build and rebuild.
