About The Gifted Cork & GourmetThe Gifted Cork & Gourmet is a wine and cheese boutique with hundreds of unique gifts for wine and food lovers. With over 500 wines in stock, we host a daily wine tasting from specific wine regions each month. Charcuterie plates may be added to enhance the experience or put in a to-go box. Baskets and large customized charcuterie platters are available to order, and delivery is available to most areas. We host special events three times a month and participate in many festivals and fundraisers throughout the year. Each year, we also host a Tasting Tour in a US wine destination. This August, we are traveling to Paso Robles, California, and opening this to customers of the store. Please call the store for more information.
What differentiates you from the competition?Our boutique is warm and inviting. Our staff has over 90 years of experience in the wine industry, and we love to share our knowledge with customers. Our inventory is vast and our prices, competitive. We react quickly, and follow up on requests.
What are your top selling services or products that your company offers?Our daily wine tasting gives the customer the opportunity to enjoy wines from a specific region, while learning wine facts and geography to expand their knowledge. People tend to love trying before buying.
If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?The Gifted Cork is unique and welcoming, with a great inventory, staff and presence.
What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?Costs of advertising are always challenging so we tend to focus on social media and tourist publications. Spammers and hackers are always keeping us on our toes in the internet world.
