About Fellowship of Christian Athletes – Hudson ValleyWe are a non-profit Christian sports ministry with a mission to lead EVERY coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. We do this through sport specific camps, "huddles" (which are small group bible studies for coaches or atheltes), and one-on-one discipleship.

If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?Not customers but... God doesn't exist solely in a building with a steeple on Sunday mornings. He exists on fields, courts, rinks, locker rooms, dugouts, and race tracks.

What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?Reach and content

How is your ministry engaging with the community today?We are meeting coaches and athletes right where they are, where they are comfortable and have an identity.

What role does technology play in spreading your message?Huge role. Social media, emails, videos, communication, etc.

How do you support spiritual growth among your members?We look to build relationships by engaging with coaches and athletes, equipping them with spiritual knowledge and resoruces, and encouraging them to be a disciple who makes disciples.

What challenges are ministries facing in the modern world?Lack of real connection because of social media. False messages being shared by anyone with an iphone.

What initiatives are you leading to serve vulnerable populations?One in partucular is our All-Abilities programs where we serve coaches/atheltes with disabilities.
