How is technology changing the classroom experience? Technology is expanding the classroom beyond four walls. When used wisely, it allows students to access global experts, primary sources, and immersive learning while still grounding them in critical thinking, discipline, and human connection. Technology should serve wisdom—not replace it.
What challenges are educators currently facing post-pandemic? The pandemic did not impact our school operationally—we remained open in free Florida and continued educating without interruption. Today’s challenge is rebuilding depth and curiosity in learning. Educators must be continuous learners themselves, engaging real-world sites, history, science, and culture firsthand so education remains alive, grounded, and relevant.
How do you support student engagement and well-being? We support student engagement and well-being by creating meaningful learning rooted in purpose, belonging, and real-world exploration. Small class settings, faith-centered mentorship, hands-on experiences, and movement-based learning help students feel seen, challenged, and confident—academically, emotionally, and spiritually.
What role does equity play in your educational approach? Equity, to us, means meeting students where they are and giving each one the tools, time, and guidance needed to thrive. We value individual calling over uniform outcomes, ensuring every learner is known, challenged, and supported according to their God-given potential.
How are you preparing students for a rapidly changing world? We prepare students for a changing world by grounding them in timeless truth, critical thinking, adaptability, and courage. Through classical education, global experiences, faith formation, and real-world problem solving, students learn how to think—not just what to think.
Can you share an initiative that has made a real impact? One of our most impactful initiatives is our Differing Needs program, which meets students academically, emotionally, and spiritually as individuals—not labels. Alongside this, our deliverance ministry initiatives, including baptism and the work of the Holy Spirit, have brought healing, clarity, and transformation to families. Together, these efforts reflect our belief that true education addresses the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.
What’s your vision for the future of education? The future of education is a return to genius—awakening curiosity through adventure, expeditions, and ancient knowledge while building real skills and functional ability. I envision learners shaped into capable leaders through faith, exploration, and disciplined thinking, guided by educators who are lifelong explorers themselves.
